Other business.

Harmonising relations with the Aeromodellers at St Agnes There was a discussion about the deterioration of our ability to get along & the reasons behind the fact. As a first step communication & engagement with modellers on site is key. Say hello to the modellers on arrival & agree arrangements for the day. Keep them informed of your intentions & respect their right to use the lift as we do.
St Agnes Continuation as a club site is now at risk because some persons at the airfield are unhappy with our activities. Pilots are instructed not to fly past the cut back bend in the cliff 400m to the right of take off until further notice and the outcome of negotiations with the airfield. The sites guide is being updated so the onus is on pilots to check or not fly if they are unsure of the restriction.
Club logo Whittled down to a short list of three for tweaking by Sam Phipps for a final decision by members at the next meeting.
Ideas for updating the Sites Guides Phippsy suggested putting Lat/Lon rather than OS grid references on to the site guides and emergency cards in case the emergency services are required.
Steve Penaluna trophy was presented to Michel
Social evening Kaz took the initiative & booked up the Victory Inn nr Porthtowan for the club. 7.30pm, meals tend to be about £10/hd.
Algo trip in Oct There are only two places left so contact Phippsy if interested.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 9pm.
