Our
club is always more than happy to meet up with visiting
paragliding and hang gliding pilots and help them
with information and advice where they can.
If you want to meet local pilots, find out where
you can fly, etc, then get in touch! It is
the policy of this Association to make our sites
as open as possible for the use of BHPA Members
and qualified pilots from abroad.

pilots should get in touch with Alan
Phipps, the Club Contact, before flying. He

275 918 (mobile). If you have a particular site
in mind, you may also want to contact the Site Officer
for that site (see below).
Open
Sites
Our
open sites can be found on our regularly updated
Site
Guide. Please respect the arrangements when
flying at these sites.
Restricted
Sites
Some
sites are restricted to Resident Kernow Hang Gliding
& Paragliding Association Members, usually on
the insistence of the Site Owner. In such cases
we seek to arrange for visiting pilots to fly these
sites as Accompanied Visitors. Visiting pilots are
asked to respect this arrangement. The sites affected
are all sensitive sites and unauthorised use may
well result in loss of the site altogether. This
applies equally to members of neighbouring Clubs
(South Devon HG & PG Club and The Devon and
Somerset Condors}. In other words, paying a subscription
to KHPA does not open the site to non-resident pilots.
Club Membership
KHPA
Membership runs from January to December and costs just £15.

In
addition to a regular KHPA Bulletin you will receive a membership
card for the year together with a sites guide including a
list of contacts.
Incidents
/ Accidents
For
visitors who are involved in any incident at a Kernow site
- an accident, an exchange with an irate farmer, etc, please
report it to either the Chairman Dave Stevens (07855 688 203),
